V.D.

VD as in Valentines Day, but I love it as much as I love VD the disease.   So not a lot, in case you were wondering.

It’s not that I dont have someone who I can be with on V Day, but I:

A) Do not like holidays.

B) Especially do not like holidays where I feel obligated to perform a certain ritual.

C) Don’t like expressing my feelings.

That said,  as much as I don’t like flowers, red, and pink, I do think I would swoon if I was given one of these.

Cocktails at home

I have started making more cocktails at home instead of just wine or beer when entertaining guests. Most of the time, this consists of either an old fashions, bourbon with bitters or orange, or dark and stormys. Along with this new found hobby as also come an obsession with ice and ice presentation. Here are two designs that I have been drooling over as of late:
The Muji Ice Ball form:

And Whiskey Stones, small non porous stones that don’t melt nor add any weird texture/flavor to your beverage:

Both are awesome and I must invest sooner or later in one or the other.
